Learning for older people in care settings/ A guide for activity coordinators and care staff.

NIACE.

"For older people, taking part in activities can improve their memory and dexterity, increase their appetite, give them greater levels of  confidence, help them socialise, or just make them smile and enjoy life more"

Learning achievement, however small, should be recognised. A great benefit of learning is that improves enjoyment of life.

Older people should always be able to choose whether or not to participate.
Learners identify something of interest, such a song, film trailer, TV programme or place, and the facilitor uses the Internet to find it.

Above you can find the guide with many interesting reflections and advices, really helpful for me.
